Online Registration
The School City of Hammond Student Services office is accepting open enrollment applications through November 29, 2024 for new out-of-district students to begin attending school at SCH as of Monday, January 6th, 2025 for the second semester. Families will be notified of enrollment decisions mid-December thru January 6, 2025, before the start of the second semester.
After November 29, 2024 applications will continue to be accepted if space is available, until January 31, 2025. After January 31, 2025, Out of District transfer applications will no longer be accepted for the 2024-25 school year.
Open enrollment transfer applications for the 2025-26 school year will be accepted starting in April 2025.
- Returning students are students who attended any Hammond school during the 2023-24 school year. You MUST register your children using your parent portal account.
- If you DO NOT have a parent portal account or your child is missing from your parent portal account, please call the your child's school or Student Services department for assistance at 219-933-2461 ext. 2021
- Students who were withdrawn from any Hammond school during the 2023-24 school year, MUST register as a new student.
- Students who are new to our district, must register as a new student.

If you DO have a Parent Portal account:
1. Click here and Enter your username and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Username or Password?"
If you DO NOT have a Parent Portal account:
1. Please contact your child's school to get the "Access ID" and "Access Password".
2. Click here to Set-up an account.
All new students must create a registration account and then fill out the Pre-Registration Form. Once you have been approved, you will be given a “Snap Code” to complete the 2024-25 New School Registration.
