Extensive Background Check
Indiana state law requires that all applicants recommended for employment with a school district complete a Department of Child Services (DCS) search, an extensive criminal background check, and if applicable, an Educational License verification, at the applicant’s expense.
The cost of the background check will depend on the position for which you are being recommended. The fee can only be paid by using a Visa or MasterCard. There may be additional fees incurred depending our your results. Please note, before you are charged with any additional fees, SafeHiring Solutions will contact you, via email, to ask if you want to proceed.
Certified (Teacher, Administrator, etc.) - $32.60
This includes the extensive criminal background check, DCS search and a license verification (revokes/suspensions).
Non-Certified (Support Staff, Clerical, Custodial, etc.) - $28.65
This includes the extensive criminal background check and DCS search (There will be additonal fees attached if you have lived in different states other than Indiana).
